January 10, 2025: Wessington Springs, SD 57382 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) and the host Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD), observed Ethan's basketball team overwhelm Wessington Springs by a score of 62-30.
The Rustlers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD). The Huskies come into the B Region 3 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Bridgewater/Emery was routed by Freeman (Freeman, SD), 56-31, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Wessington Springs will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 35-13 non-league win over Garretson (Garretson, SD).
