Virginia High School Basketball - Centreville can't hold off James Madison
January 10, 2025: Vienna, VA 22181 James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA), 38-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, James Madison advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Warhawks travel to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA) to face the Chargers in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 5-0.
The Wildcats now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Centreville will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 31-29 non-league win over Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
