In Friday's non-league contest, the host West Potomac Wolverines basketball team scored a close 41-37 triumph over the Alexandria City Titans.

The Wolverines (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions go into the contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Fairfax nipped Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 48-36, in a non-league contest.
