Illinois High School Basketball - Farmington crushes Bushnell-Prairie City
January 11, 2022: Farmington, IL 61531 Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans (Bushnell, IL), 73-31 in a league bout.
With the win, Farmington upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Farmers travel to Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL) to play the Rebels in a Prairieland bout on Friday, January 14. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Astoria/VIT lost 57-51 in their recent non-league bout against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL)
Next up, the Spartans play the West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Bushnell-Prairie City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Cyclones go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL).
