January 11, 2022: New Riegel, OH 44853 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH) and the host New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH), saw Calvert's basketball squad wallop New Riegel by a count of 58-30.
With the victory, Calvert upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Senecas travel to Danbury (Lakeside, OH) to play the Lakers in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Friday, January 14. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Danbury won 62-51 in their recent league challenge against St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH)
Next up, the Blue Jackets play the Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge, on Friday, January 14. New Riegel will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Stockaders come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 73-36 league win over Lakota (Kansas, OH).
