Texas High School Basketball - Calvert overwhelms North Zulch
January 11, 2022: Calvert, TX 77837 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Calvert Trojans (Calvert, TX) and the visiting North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX), saw Calvert's basketball squad wallop North Zulch by a tally of 59-30.
With the victory, Calvert improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Richards (Richards, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 1A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, January 14. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Richards lost 39-36 in their recent league challenge against Bartlett (Bartlett, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Dime Box Longhorns (Dime Box, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, January 14. North Zulch will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 46-44 non-league loss to Calvert (Calvert, TX).
