The Sayre Redskins topped the visiting Canton Warriors basketball team by a final score of 62-45 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Redskins face the North Penn-Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, PA) in a Northern Tier game, on Monday, January 16. Sayre will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 12-1 record after their 58-37 league win over Athens (Athens, PA).
