Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA) and the visiting Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA), saw Towanda's basketball squad hold off Sayre by a count of 45-40.

With the victory, Towanda upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Montrose (Montrose, PA) to play the Meteors in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Meteors come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
