Arkansas High School Basketball - Harmony Grove holds off Jessieville
January 11, 2023: Jessieville, AR 71949 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR) and the host Jessieville Lions (Jessieville, AR), saw Harmony Grove's basketball squad hold off Jessieville by a tally of 58-55.
With the victory, Harmony Grove improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Glen Rose (Malvern, AR) to confront the Beavers in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Beavers come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Glen Rose lost 47-44 in their recent league challenge against Bismarck (Bismarck, AR)
Next up, the Lions confront the Fouke Panthers (Fouke, AR) in a 3A Region 7 challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Jessieville will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 86-42 league win over Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR).
