January 18, 2023: Malvern, AR 72104 In Wednesday's league outing, the Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Jessieville Lions (Jessieville, AR), by a margin of 56-48.
The Beavers (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Prescott (Prescott, AR). The Curley Wolves go into the 3A Region 7 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Prescott defeated Fouke (Fouke, AR), 57-52, in a league outing.
The Lions now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Genoa Central for a 3A Region 7 outing on Friday, January 20. Jessieville will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 61-37 league loss to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 9-11.
