Arkansas High School Basketball - Glen Rose holds off Prescott
January 21, 2023: Malvern, AR 72104 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR) and the visiting Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR), saw Glen Rose's basketball squad hold off Prescott by a tally of 50-46.
With the victory, Glen Rose improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Beavers host Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR) to confront the Dragons in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 9-13. Genoa Central lost 63-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity Christian (Texarkana, AR)
Next up, the Curley Wolves confront the Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR) in a 3A Region 7 challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Prescott will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 39-38 league win over Centerpoint (Amity, AR).
