California High School Basketball - Las Lomas nips Miramonte

January 11, 2023: Orinda, CA 94563

Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 51-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Las Lomas upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Knights host Campolindo (Moraga, CA) to play the Cougars in a Diablo - Foothill bout on Friday, January 13. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Campolindo lost 74-66 in their recent league bout against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)

Next up, the Matadors play the College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a Diablo - Foothill bout, on Friday, January 13. Miramonte will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 71-64 league loss to Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA).
