In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) basketball team were victorious over the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), by a score of 74-57.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Moorefield Yellow Jackets (Moorefield, WV) in a Potomac Valley A match, on Monday, January 16. Pocahontas County will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the match with a 1-9 record after their 65-54 non-league loss to Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV).
