Virginia High School Basketball - Bath County crushes Richwood
February 1, 2023: Hot Springs, VA 24445 Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), 68-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bath County upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Chargers travel to Highland (Monterey, VA) to clash with the Rams in a Pioneer bout on Friday, February 3. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Highland lost 74-61 in their recent league bout against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA)
Next up, the Lumberjacks clash with the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 49-46 league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).
