Oregon High School Basketball - Amity over Taft
January 11, 2024: Lincoln City, OR 97367 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Amity Warriors (Amity, OR) and the host Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR), saw Amity's basketball squad beat Taft by a margin of 57-46.
The Warriors (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Spartans go into the 3A PacWest test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Sheridan was beaten by Scio (Scio, OR), 77-46, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Neah-Kah-Nie for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Taft will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 58-51 league win over Banks (Banks, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 9-4.
