New Jersey High School Basketball - Whippany Park knocked off by Dover
January 11, 2024: Dover, NJ 07801 The Dover Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Whippany Park Wildcats to 49 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parsippany for a Northwest Jersey - Independence contest on Tuesday, January 16. Dover will meet a Redhawks team coming off a 68-50 non-league loss to Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks record now stands at 4-5.
The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Colonials enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Morristown was outscored by West Morris Central (Chester, NJ), 69-50, in a league contest.
