In Thursday's league match, the visiting Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets basketball team scored a decisive 68-38 triumph over the Rothsay Tigers.

In their next game, the Comets meet the Park Christian/Covenant Creek (Moorhead, MN) in a A Section 6 match, on Saturday, January 13. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The enter the match with a 6-6 record after their 70-56 league loss to Ada-Borup/Norman County West (Ada, MN).
