Minnesota High School Basketball - Ashby knocked off by Hillcrest Lutheran Academy
January 30, 2024: Ashby, MN 56309 The Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Ashby Arrows to 60 in the Comets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Comets now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheaton for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 64-63 non-league win over Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 7-9.
The Arrows (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock (Hancock, MN). The Owls enter the A Section 6 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Hancock was defeated by Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN), 83-65, in a league contest.
