New Jersey High School Basketball - Jefferson Township nudges Vernon
January 11, 2024: Oak Ridge, NJ 07438 Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), 54-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson Township upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Sparta (Sparta, NJ) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Sparta won 62-55 in their recent non-league bout against Randolph (Randolph, NJ)
Next up, the Vikings clash with the Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ).
