New Jersey High School Basketball - Jefferson Township nips West Milford
December 28, 2023: Oak Ridge, NJ 07438 Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ), 58-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Jefferson Township upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ) to play the Patriots in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Lenape Valley lost 60-45 in their recent non-league bout against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ)
Next up, the Highlanders play the Wayne Hills Patriots (Wayne, NJ) in a Big North - Independence bout, on Tuesday, January 2. West Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 58-34 non-league loss to St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ).
