Wyoming High School Basketball - Mitchell nudges Torrington

January 11, 2024: Torrington, WY 82240

Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY), 50-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mitchell upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Bridgeport lost 57-48 in their recent league bout against Kimball (Kimball, NE)

Next up, the Trailblazers clash with the Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY) in a 3A Southeast bout, on Friday, January 19. Torrington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
