Sidney Red Raiders (Sidney, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE), 61-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Sidney upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Ogallala (Ogallala, NE) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Ogallala won 60-52 in their recent league bout against Cozad (Cozad, NE)

Next up, the Tigers play the Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Mitchell will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 41-25 non-league win over Newcastle (Newcastle, WY).
