Michigan High School Basketball - Morenci ripped by Summerfield
January 11, 2024: Morenci, MI 49256 The Summerfield Bulldogs basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Morenci Bulldogs to 43 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lenawee Christian for a Tri-County contest on Tuesday, January 16. Summerfield will meet a Cougars team coming off a 55-49 league win over Erie-Mason (Erie, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 8-2.
The Bulldogs (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Erie-Mason (Erie, MI). The Eagles enter the Tri-County contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Erie-Mason triumphed over Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI), 63-51, in a league contest.
