January 4, 2024: Morenci, MI 49256 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Sand Creek Aggies (Sand Creek, MI) and the host Morenci Bulldogs (Morenci, MI), saw Sand Creek's basketball squad wallop Morenci by a tally of 70-45.
With the victory, Sand Creek improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Aggies host North Adams-Jerome (North Adams, MI) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. North Adams-Jerome lost 47-28 in their recent league challenge against Jackson Christian (Jackson, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) in a Tri-County challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Morenci will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 46-37 non-league loss to Monroe (Monroe, MI).
