California High School Basketball - Ponderosa crushes Oakmont
January 11, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682 Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), 94-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Ponderosa upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Bruins travel to West Park (Roseville, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 18-0. West Park won 61-53 in their recent league bout against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA)
Next up, the Vikings clash with the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Oakmont will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Fighting Zebras enter the game with a 0-7 record after their 61-51 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA).
