Florida High School Basketball - Academy of the Holy Names falls to River Ridge

January 11, 2024: New Port Richey, FL 34654

In Thursday's non-league match, the host River Ridge Royal Knights basketball team scored a good 39-30 triumph over the Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars.

In their next game, the Royal Knights meet the Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 13. River Ridge will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 10-5 record after their 54-50 non-league win over Gulf (New Port Richey, FL).

With the defeat, Academy of the Holy Names moves to 11-7 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Tampa Prep (Tampa, FL) to meet the Terrapins in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 17. The Terrapins enter the match with a record of 9-6. Tampa Prep won 47-36 in their recent non-league match against The First Academy (Orlando, FL)
