Florida High School Basketball - River Ridge thwarts Wesley Chapel

The River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) basketball knocked off the host Wesley Chapel Wildcats (Wesley Chapel, FL), 64-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Royal Knights (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Zephyrhills notched a victory over Hudson (Hudson, FL), 59-17, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Gulf for a 5A District 6 test on Friday, December 22. Wesley Chapel will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 45-41 league loss to Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-3.
