The Fayetteville-Perry Rockets basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays to 40 in the Rockets league triumph on Thursday.

The Rockets now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manchester for a Southern Hills contest on Thursday, January 18.

The Blue Jays (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH). The Mustangs enter the Southern Hills contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Lynchburg-Clay was defeated by Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
