Pennsylvania High School Basketball - South Fayette can't hold off Trinity
January 11, 2024: McDonald, PA 15057 The Trinity Hillers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host South Fayette Lions to 57 in the Hillers league victory on Thursday.
The Hillers now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Linsly for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Trinity will battle a Cadets team coming off a 48-23 non-league win over Beallsville (Beallsville, OH). The Cadets record now stands at 3-11.
The Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Indians come into the WPIAL 5A 4 contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, West Allegheny was nudged by Moon Area (Moon Township, PA), 23-21, in a league contest.
