California High School Basketball - Corning knocks off Anderson

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA) and the visiting Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), observed Corning's basketball team overcome Anderson by a margin of 48-36.

The Cardinals (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Oroville (Oroville, CA). The Tigers come into the Butte View challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Oroville dropped by Durham (Durham, CA), 57-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cubs battle the Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA) in a Northern challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Anderson will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 68-33 non-league win over CORE Butte (Chico, CA).
