In Tuesday's non-league test, the Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA) basketball squad defeated the host Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), by a final score of 54-40.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Willows Honkers (Willows, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 19. Corning will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Honkers come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 70-30 non-league loss to Orland (Orland, CA).
