Texas High School Basketball - Seguin defeats Burleson
January 11, 2025: Burleson, TX 76028 The Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) basketball were winner over the host Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX), 62-50 in Saturday's league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 14-11 record. They play next when they host Mansfield Timberview for a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Seguin will play a Wolves team coming off a 52-48 league loss to Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 20-5.
With the loss, Burleson falls to 17-10 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Centennial (Burleson, TX) to play the Spartans in a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 21-5. Centennial won 55-49 in their recent league bout against Joshua (Joshua, TX)
