The Cohoes Tigers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Schalmont Sabres to 56 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic Central for a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot contest on Friday, January 21.

The Sabres (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Cadets enter the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty contest with a 5-3 record.
