The La Serna Lancers basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Whittier Cardinals to 55 in the Lancers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lancers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host California for a Del Rio contest on Friday, January 14. La Serna will battle a Condors team coming off a 67-57 league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Condors record now stands at 9-10.

The Cardinals (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Chiefs enter the Del Rio contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Santa Fe triumphed over California (Whittier, CA), 67-57, in a league contest.
