The La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) basketball knocked off the host El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA), 76-56 in Monday's league test.

The Lancers (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Heritage Christian notched a victory over Valley Christian (Cerritos, CA), 69-50, in a league test.

The Dons now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they host Santa Fe for a Del Rio test on Wednesday, January 19. El Rancho will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 70-39 non-league loss to Downey (Downey, CA). The Chiefs record now stands at 8-11.
