January 12, 2023: Lewiston, MN 55952 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN) and the host Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), saw Fillmore Central's basketball squad wallop Lewiston-Altura by a tally of 91-56.
With the victory, Fillmore Central improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Plainview-Elgin-Millville won 61-40 in their recent league challenge against Pine Island (Pine Island, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Rushford-Peterson Trojans (Rushford, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Lewiston-Altura will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 62-40 league loss to Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN).
