January 12, 2023: Winsted, CT 06098 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT) and the host Gilbert Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT), saw Wamogo's basketball squad hold off Gilbert by a count of 63-58.
With the victory, Wamogo upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Terryville (Terryville, CT) to play the Kangaroos in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Kangaroos come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Wamogo Regional Warriors (Litchfield, CT) in a Berkshire challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 70-64 league loss to Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT).
