The Hawley Nuggets basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Pelican Rapids Vikings to 53 in the Nuggets league victory on Thursday.

The Nuggets now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Annandale for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Hawley will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 56-42 non-league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-5.

The Vikings (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND). The Grovers come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record.
