In Friday's league outing, the Hawley Nuggets (Hawley, MN) basketball squad edged the host Pelican Rapids Vikings (Pelican Rapids, MN), by a count of 69-63.

The Nuggets (14-8) will now prepare for their outing against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN). The Rebels go into the AA Section 8 outing with a 18-6 record. In their last outing, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton was tipped by Perham (Perham, MN), 72-50, in a league outing.
