January 12, 2023: Purcellville, VA 20132 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) and the visiting Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA), saw Loudoun Valley's basketball squad overcome Millbrook by a tally of 67-50.
With the victory, Loudoun Valley improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA) to confront the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Rock Ridge won 42-27 in their recent league challenge against Lightridge (Aldie, VA)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Friday, January 13. Millbrook will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 67-27 league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA).
