January 12, 2024: Edina, MN 55439 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) and the visiting Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN), saw Edina's basketball squad wallop Chaska by a tally of 79-44.
With the victory, Edina improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN) to play the Royals in a AAAA Section 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Hopkins won 91-88 in their recent non-league challenge against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN)
Next up, the Hawks play the St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Chaska will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 68-50 league loss to Washburn (Minneapolis, MN).
