February 12, 2024: Plymouth, MN 55446 The Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) basketball felled the visiting Edina Hornets (Edina, MN), 79-67 in Monday's league test.
The Trojans (21-1) will now prepare for their test against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals go into the AAAA Section 6 test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Hopkins thwarted Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN), 92-75, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael-Albertville for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15. Edina will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 83-81 non-league loss to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Knights record now stands at 9-12.
