California High School Basketball - Point Loma tops Clairemont
January 12, 2024: San Diego, CA 92106 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA), saw Point Loma's basketball squad knock off Clairemont by a count of 73-62.
With the victory, Point Loma upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Crawford (San Diego, CA) to play the Colts in a Central challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Crawford won 51-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Kearny (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Chieftains play the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Clairemont will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 72-46 league loss to Southwest SD (San Diego, CA).
