In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA), by a margin of 80-39.

The Chieftains (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Santana (Santee, CA). The Sultans go into the non-league outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Santana was trounced by Grossmont (El Cajon, CA), 59-58, in a non-league outing.
