Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) and the visiting Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT), saw Corner Canyon's basketball squad overcome Riverton by a tally of 53-41.

With the victory, Corner Canyon improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Chargers host Herriman (West Herriman, UT) to confront the Mustangs in a 6A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Herriman won 57-51 in their recent league challenge against Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT)

Next up, the Silverwolves confront the Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT) in a 6A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Riverton will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record.
