The Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX), 53-49 in Friday's league test.

The Pirates (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region II District 14 test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Corsicana got by Terrell (Terrell, TX), 80-23, in a league test.
