Minnesota High School Basketball - Delano overwhelms Sartell-St. Stephen
January 12, 2024: Delano, MN 55328 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Delano Tigers (Delano, MN) and the visiting Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN), saw Delano's basketball squad wallop Sartell-St. Stephen by a tally of 80-42.
With the victory, Delano improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN) to confront the Stars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Southwest Christian won 92-88 in their recent non-league challenge against Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN)
Next up, the Sabres confront the Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Sartell-St. Stephen will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 84-74 non-league loss to Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN).
