Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN) and the host Delano Tigers (Delano, MN), saw Waconia's basketball squad hold off Delano by a tally of 77-75.

With the victory, Waconia improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Eastview (Apple Valley, MN) to confront the Lightning in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Lightning come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Delano will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record.
