Minnesota High School Basketball - Waconia crushes Sartell-St. Stephen
December 5, 2023: Waconia, MN 55387 Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN), 80-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waconia upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Shakopee (Shakopee, MN) to clash with the Sabers in a AAAA Section 2 bout on Thursday, December 7. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Shakopee won 61-58 in their recent non-league bout against Edina (Edina, MN)
Next up, the Sabres clash with the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 bout, on Saturday, December 9. Sartell-St. Stephen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 62-60 league loss to Rogers (Rogers, MN).
