January 12, 2024: Guys Mills, PA 16327 The Eisenhower Knights (Russell, PA) basketball felled the host Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA), 59-47 in Friday's league test.
The Knights (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Cochranton (Cochranton, PA). The Cardinals go into the District 10 Region 2 test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Cochranton thwarted Union City (Union City, PA), 45-39, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Reynolds for a District 10 Region 2 test on Saturday, January 13. Maplewood will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 64-60 non-league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-10.
